ISO family resort with lots of organized kids' activities

We are two families with three elementary school aged kids and we would love to find a resort with these features:

- pool, tennis, spa (does not have to be on site but must be within short drive)

- within 2-3 hour drive from DC

- plenty of activities for the kids; BONUS would be a drop off program

- Our budget is about $350-400/night to sleep 2 couples and 3 kids, ages 7 to 9, in one suite/condo or one house.

We don%26#39;t golf but a tennis facility is important to us.

We have stayed at Wintergreen and liked it OK, but we are now looking for something comparable or better in terms of organized kids%26#39; activities. Capon Spring would be ideal but for their high price. Any other ideas would be greatly appreciated.

The same request for recommendation has been posted in the W. Va. forum earlier. Trying to cover both states to find that ideal resort for our families. Thanks.

What does ISO mean?

Colonial Williamsburg might work. They have pools, tennis, an excellent spa, lots for the kids to do, including a Colonial Kids Program. history.org/visit/…colonialKids.cfm Not sure the housing would suit, but a Colonial House or a couple of rooms/suites at the Lodge or Woodlands might be one solution. Good luck!

Thank you.

ISO is an acronym for In Search Of. Sorry for the confusion.
