Went to Charlottesville from Williamsburg, and it took almost 2 hours to drive straight there. Went to the rotunda at UVA (free tour), then to the downtown mall. It is really nice. Many good places to eat, with Christian%26#39;s pizza as my favorite, and Marco and Lucas dumplings a close second. Nice shaded streets to roam. Then we went to Monticello. We stayed until closing. Great day trip from Williamsburg.
