Hi all,

contemplating an overnight trip to Busch Gardens with our 4 year old. We were thinking of going either Sun/Mon 6/28-6/29 or Mon/Tue. Are there a lot of events in Colonial Williamsburg that whole week leading up to 4th of July weekend that would make the crowds worse even on the weekdays? Thanks!

Crowds of course worse in the summer now that school is out-weekdays not as bad. BG has been packed, I would aim for a weekday if possible, although no way to know what the crowds will be like any given day.

I would be parking at BG 30 minutes before opening OR waiting until after late afternoon.

Fireworks are July 1-4. Where in the park is a good place to watch?

Also, I%26#39;m thinking we%26#39;d leave the park late afternoon to let the little one nap. What time do you think we need to head back to view fireworks/still get parking/seats? Does traffic get really bad?

The best place to watch the fireworks is behind the Festhaus, but you have to get there at least a half hour early - space is limited.
