DMB - pilgrimage ideas?

Hello from Dallas! My husband and I usually attend 1-2 DMB concerts each year as the base for our summer vacation, and have had the opportunity to see the band in various states... except Virginia. Since having a child, concerts have been curtailed some, but we have an upcoming vacation to Williamsburg June 13-16. I would like to surprise him and take a day trip to visit some of the places we have read about in the band%26#39;s roots. Our two-year-old daughter will be with us, as this trip is mainly for Busch Gardens and Water Country.

Where would you recommend us going / seeing on a short day trip to Charlottesville with DMB memorabilia? Miller%26#39;s? Other ideas? I%26#39;m even thinking about Saturday the 13th driving straight from the airport - hoping our daughter sleeps in the car for her nap time.

Many, many thanks in advance!! :)

And just in case... DMB = Dave Matthews Band :)

DMB - pilgrimage ideas?

The original venues where DMB played, Eastern Standard and Trax, are long gone. Miller%26#39;s on the Downtown Mall is still there. Scott Stadium and John Paul Jones Arena at UVA is where DMB has performed their last 2 concerts in C%26#39;ville.

If you don%26#39;t mind a bit more driving, come on down to Scottsville. A few years ago Dave Matthews bought a number of farms along Route 20 south which became ';Best of What%26#39;s Around'; (from one of the DMB songs). Best of What%26#39;s Around sells organic vegetables, honey, %26amp; eggs at the local farmers market (Saturday 9 a.m. in Scottsville).

But don%26#39;t expect DMB memorabilia or anything -- just veggies!
