Downtown restaurants with kids

I posted an earlier question about where to stay--after much debate we decided on a more economical stay at the Courtyard by Marriott North with our three kids, which means we%26#39;ll be driving into town. We%26#39;re fortunate that our kids enjoy good food (they%26#39;re pretty adventurous). What are some good places to eat in which we wouldn%26#39;t feel completely uncomfortable taking our three children? Also, where is a good place to park downtown on a Saturday or Sunday?

Thanks in advance for your help!

Bizou and Hamiltons are both really good and if you go early enough I don%26#39;t think you would feel out of place with the kids. Christians Pizza and Five Guys Burgers and Fries are both awesome and totally safe in the kids department. ALso if you like Thai food Monsoon is good and pretty low key. I would probably do the omni lot for parking? Or sometimes you can sneak into the bank parking lot below the omni but sometimes they have people charging there. There are a couple of other pay parking lots on water st which are convenient but I hate paying for parking.

Thanks--your suggestions sound great! We love Thai, so we%26#39;ll have to try Monsoon.

Monsoon is on Market Street so you could park either at the Omni Hotel Parking lot or the Market St Municipal lot. Be careful of lots that say parking for a particular business only- many cars have been towed. There are two other municipal lots on Water St as well. If you have time, you can walk along Mall and check out the menus before you pick a place. Most places have outdoor seating. A fun, unusual place is Bang on Second St. It has outdoor seating in a courtyard and has Asian tappas/appetizers. Everyone can pick 1-2 and pass them around for all to share. Enjoy your stay here.

I agree bang is a great option and if you can find a spot there is a good parking lot right in front
