900 Pacific Place

All the review about this address are very old (from 2006) - has anyone been there lately?

900 Pacific Place

Haven%26#39;t been inside. I can tell you about the surroundings...I think you asked about that in your other post.

This should get you a picture:

http://maps.google.com/maps?q=900+Pacific+ave,+virginia+beach+va%26amp;hl=en%26amp;um=1%26amp;ie=UTF-8%26amp;split=0%26amp;gl=us%26amp;ei=jmc2Sp_rPJPKtgfh1NS4CQ%26amp;sa=X%26amp;oi=geocode_result%26amp;ct=image%26amp;resnum=1

The idea, if it doesn%26#39;t work, is to google 900 pacific ave, virginia beach, va (mapping seems to like commsa)and then click on %26#39;street view%26#39;. It%26#39;ll give you a 360 of the corner.

If I%26#39;m not mistaken that%26#39;s the parking deck for Springhill Suites as you look down the block between the buildings. (pretty little lake is across the street in the other direction)

Change the address just to change ';Pacific'; to ';Atlantic'; and you%26#39;ll see the parking deck corner.

So to get to the beach you%26#39;d walk down the side block or 1/2 block to Atlantic Ave. Stop in the stores pictured on the corner for beach stuff, newspapers, free coupon books, etc.; walk down to Prise Food Mart (904) a couple of feet and check out the bicycle, surry rentals and pick up anything else you%26#39;ve forgotten, cross the street (well, better go back to the corner) and head left just a few yards and turn right to walk on the wide path between hotel and pool to get to the wonderful boardwalk and wide beach. (This walkway you will see better if you go to 1000 Atlantic Avenue)

The map doesn%26#39;t show it yet but that sandy empty spot past the pool is now the new Hampton Inn.
