Where in VA Beach can you pay a few dollars and swim in their pool?

I believe at all the recreation centers you can pay per day-these are all indoor pools though.

Go to www.vb.gov and choose parks and recreation from the ';select a department'; list. It will show you all the rec centers, etc. I believe you have to be a member though. Not sure if you can pay by the day, but it is worth checking out.

The YMCA has a pool and allows limited day use to non-members for a small fee. There are several in the area and one is located a few miles from the oceanfront at 1536 Laskin Rd (Hilltop area), 757 422-3805 for additional information.
