CW area in 4 full days

We will have 4 full days in the area. Sat-Tues. Are there better days to do certain things. I think we plan on doing Busch gardens on Tuesday since it should be least crowded. We want to do CW yorktowne and Jamestown as well.

What order should we go in. How much time for each place?

To get a true sense of history, it%26#39;s best to do the historic sites in the order they occurred. So, begin with Historic Jamestowne where the first English colonists landed(the National Park), then the Jamestowne Settlement (a reconstructed/ character enacted site adjacent to the Park), Colonial Williamsburg, and finally Yorktown Settlement and the Yorktown Battlefield (also a National Park).

Ticket options include many or all of these sites, including Busch Gardens. Plan a day at the two Jamestown locations, at least a day and a half at Colonial Williamsburg (including an evening tavern meal and an evening program), and a day at the Yorktown locations.

Research other posts and reviews here, or ask specific questions about the itinerary. But the visitation schedule outlined above is the one used by professional tour guides, as the order is in step with the history of each of the locations.

Enjoy your visit.

First-timer visitors to CW should make time to see the Palace, the Capitol, the Randolph House, the Wythe House, and the Courthouse. Check in the CW weekly planner to see when the Courthouse has its programs and take part in one of the trials. Definitely follow the Revolutionary City program the days you spend in CW. Visit as many historic trade sites as you can. We like the wig maker, the milliner, and the boot maker, but there is something for everyone. Take Bixdoc%26#39;s advice and have dinner or at least lunch in one of the colonial taverns.

When you visit Historic Jamestowne, ask if the Chicken Lady will be presenting her program that day. Her interpretation of an indentured servant new to the colonies is really good.
